Our Eye Candy of the Month is Ellie Kay
As the summer heats up, so do things here at Glamour Boutique. Something that we have been working on over the last few months is rolling out some new features, most of which are based around getting to know some of our fellow CD/TG girls who enter our Annual Glamour Girl Photo Contest. So welcome to the first Eye Candy of the Month.
Each month, we will be sitting down with some of our favorite contestants that include both finalists, winners and some of the Glamour Boutique team’s favorites. To kick off our new series, we have chosen someone who you should all know if you followed this year’s contest, this year’s second place finisher in the Cougar category, the lovely Ellie Kay.
So Ellie, how many years have you been entering the contest?
I have been entering the Glamour Boutique contest for the last two years. It’s so much fun seeing all the girls like me. I had hidden my life for so long afraid I was the only one.
Well, you have had a very good two years. Last year you finished in the Top 10 and this year you were one spot away from winning your category, finishing second in the Cougar category.
I didn’t care too much about were I finished in the contest. I mainly wanted to fit in and pass with all the other girls. It’s kind of a validation that I always was a girl.
Let’s get to know Ellie a little better. Where are you from?
I’m from colorful Colorado. Love the mountains.
Stockings or pantyhose?
I absolutely love pantyhose they help to keep bulging areas smooth. And feel so feminine.
Heels or flats?
I absolutely love heels! I would wear them 24/7 if my feet could take it. They make me feel so feminine it’s unbelievable.
How did you come up with your Femme name?
I picked my name from a woman I admire and think is so beautiful. She is also very smart and gorgeous as well as a business woman with her own company – Elle Macpherson
When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
I started wearing my mom’s underwear and pantyhose at the age of six years old. For years I thought there was something wrong with me. Until the internet happened and I discovered I was transgender. I was so relieved to find out that I was just a girl! LOL. I am seeing a therapist who is helping me be what I always should have been.
How often do you dress?
I feel comfortable expressing Ellie almost every day or night. I hope to be full time. I mentally and emotionally have to be Ellie. That is all my mind can think about most of the time.
Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
Yes, I am married. My wife tried to accept me or Ellie. She kind of knew about me dressing earlier in our marriage. She didn’t say anything about it, but when I discovered that I was transgender, there was no stopping me from being what I was meant to be. Then she started getting jealous and upset that I was as pretty as her. She started telling me she wanted me to be the man. I finally got the strength to tell her I never was a man. When we made love in my mind I was the girl.
I do want to transition but my wife doesn’t know. I’m not sure how to handle that yet. I’m sure something will come up or out to communicate with her. It may not go well, but I guess we’ll see.
What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
I admire women that can put everything on and it looks wonderful. I’m not that girl. I was born a male and I have to work hard to give myself that female figure. I love fit and flare dresses with a cropped jacket. Bandage dresses are another one of my favorite looks. On an easy trip to the mall or market a comfortable fitting maxi is a must have. Brands I love are Bebe, Guess and Free People.
Favorite places to go when dressed?
I just recently started going out dressed. I lived in a part of the country that was very conservative and not accepting of Trans or LGBT people. I finally moved to a great liberal place. Now I feel comfortable going to fun places like malls and parks to get some sunshine.
Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
Elle Macpherson. I must also say that all trans women that have came out and are living life as the gender that they should have been. Thay have so much courage and strength. Proud of them. Go girls!!!!!
Give us some fun facts – hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time or anything else you would like to share about yourself.
My enjoyment in life is clothes as I am always looking for new clothes. It consumes my thoughts. So shopping at any store that has anything to do with being a woman is my favorite activity. Also, I love water skiing. I’m still a male so the sad part is I can’t wear my bikini. That part is hard. Soon maybe I will be Ellie. So boating, camping and hiking are favorites, but number one is shopping.
If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?
I would love to meet new friends. I get lonely without people enjoying my interests. [email protected]
Would you like to send a message to your fellow girls out there?
If I could tell all trans people something. I would say don’t stop trying to be what you really are. If it makes you feel right then do it. Suicide or depression is not the answer get help wherever you can. Love you all thanks for being there.
Well said Ellie! Thanks so much for your time and congratulations again on your place in the Contest and being our first Glamour Girl.
