Our first eye candy feature – revisiting a winner – a super cougar champion
Last July, we had our first Glamour Girl Eye Candy Month which featured 4 of our Glamour Girl Contest finalists/winners. We are keeping up with this summer tradition as we get to know more about this year’s finalists and winners.
Laura White has been a pleasant constant in our annual contests. We always love seeing her entry photos as they are always in these really beautiful places. Little by little each year, Laura has climbed and last year she was the Super Cougar Runner Up. With only one spot left to conquer, Laura went for it and it paid off. This year she is your Glamour Girl Super Cougar Champion! We spoke with Laura a while back and decided to celebrate her big win, we should revisit our time with Laura White.
Congratulations on being named this year’s Super Cougar Champion. How does it feel to be the winner?
I am absolutely thrilled to be named this year’s Winner in the Super Cougar Category. The recognition that results from finally winning this extremely competitive annual contest after many years is very gratifying. My life time goal is to always set high standards concerning my total feminine image. The reality that my biological age of 73 has not slowed me down one iota hopefully symbolizes a role model for all TG’s.
Tell us how you go about choosing your outfits and how you choose what photos to submit.
My goal in selecting outfits to wear always begins with a vision of being a very contemporary, young Lady that selects outfits that you seldom see girls over 30 years of age wear. The outfits need to be modern and have sex appeal without being trashy. That is a narrow window that is often difficult to attain.
What advice would you give girls entering the contest next year?
Selecting photos for the contest is a year long process. My FLICKR Site contains over 7,000 photos. Most likely these 7,000 photos were selected from over 20,000 photos. The Glam contest selections are from the Best of the Best. Usually the final selections are often based on the number of people that viewed the photo on FLICKR.
My advice for everyone that enters the Contest is to use the Contest as a Catalyst to constantly improve your feminine image. My observation over the years concludes that most TGs plateau way too early in their life. They often reach a state of little or no change after an initial time of activity.
Any final words for your fellow girls? Our readers and judges?
Remember, life is a wonderful journey that is very short. My philosophy is to burn up every last drop of gas in my tank before I die. At 73, my number one goal is to not only Win Next year’s Super Cougar Contest. My Goal is to WIN the FINAL GLAMOUR GIRL OF THE YEAR!
Let’s start our main interview by letting our readers know where you are from?
I was a POST WWII, Baby Boomer born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio’s Tremont Neighborhood. The movie “The Deer Hunter ” was made in my old neighborhood. In the 50’s, there was no such thing as a HATE CRIME. My earliest memories of putting on anything girlish were full of anxiety and fear.
When did you first start dressing and how did it come about?
Like many TGs, my journey started out at a very early age. Probably 4 years old or younger. Back in those days, we didn’t have Mass Media to entertain ourselves. For whatever reason which I still never understood, my parents one day dressed me up in my sister’s clothes. All I can remember is that feeling of wearing that satin dress. I became imprinted for life.
How did you come up with your Femme name?
My name Laura White was selected from 2 separate people: Julie Christie played Lara in the movie Doctor Zhivago. I selected my last name from Vanna White on Wheel of Fortune.
How often do you dress?
COVID-19 was a true game changer concerning “How often I dress.” Because we went through such a long period of being quarantined, I actually started to dress much more frequently than just on Friday and Saturday. Because I had much more time on my hands I took advantage of being free to go out almost 4 or 5 times a week with a mask on. For the first time in my life, I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years dressed as Laura.
Are you married/in a relationship? If yes, are you able to share your female self with your partner?
Being a single, independent woman allows me the freedom to express myself as Laura anytime I want to.
What are some of your favorite outfits/fashions?
Since my September, 2020 Eye Candy article, I have really made some radical changes to my outfits/fashion. I have started to wear Jumpsuits, Runway Legging with sexy Tops, Dress Jeans, sexy matching tops and even tennis shoes.
Stockings or pantyhose?
I wear stockings most of the time. The fact is that when I’m out and about for 3 or 4 hours, sooner or later I need a bathroom stop. Pantyhose adds an extra layer of time that is compounded by the fact that I always wear long fingernails. Recently I have gone out with bare legs.
Heels or flats?
90% of the time I still love wearing High Heels. I recently took an inventory and I have over 60 pairs of high heels, most are between 2.75″ and 3″. On any evening, I might walk over 4,000 steps. Those 5″ stiletto pumps are great for the bedroom, but are killer out in the mainstream
Favorite places to go when dressed?
My absolute 2 favorite places to go to these days are the Capital Grill in the Upscale Galleria Mall, and the Hard Rock Casino complex in Hollywood, FL. Hopefully, as COVID-19 fades away, The Lincoln Road Theater, Broward Center for Performing Arts, Perez Art Museum, Art Basil and so many other fabulous places to visit will reopen.
Go to accessories for a night out
My accessories for a night out have radically expanded. Most of my earrings are from Glamour Boutique. In addition my selection of necklaces, bracelets, and rings has expanded a ton. Accessories are a huge part of creating that perfect, upscale, look. Note, this includes long color synchronized fingernails that I also get from Glamour Boutique.
Who is/are your female role model(s) and why?
I have added two new role models since last September, 2020: Nelly and Jessica Korda. The two girls are Pro Women Golfers. Both are almost 6′ Tall. They are both gorgeous, very powerful women with very amazing feminine bodies and beautiful faces. I actually started to use them as role models for both Laura and for playing Golf.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself. What are your hobbies (either when dressed or not), likes, things you do in your spare time, or anything else you would like to share?
As I mentioned above, the Korda sisters are my newest addition to my female role models along with Maria Sharapova and Nora O’Donnell. I am a 7 handicap golfer. Watching Nelly and Jessica play has revolutionized my game. Today, while playing, I have started to think like a woman: less power and more finest
If you have social media, what is the best way for others to follow you?

Before we go, would you like to send a message to your fellow girls out there or a closing statement.
Having dinner alone on Christmas Day at the Council Oaks Grill inside of the Guitar Hotel, Hollywood, FL was a time to do some deep reflections about Life. Having just lost my brother to COVID-19 a week earlier reminded me just how fragile life truly is. Living in the present is more important than ever. I reflected back over 70 years ago when I lived in a world full of hate for someone like myself. For everyone like myself, there are a thousand others that simply, never, lived their dreams.
Thanks Laura for sitting down with us again. Congratulations on being our Super Cougar Champion and we look forward to seeing you defend your crown next year.
