Ellie Kay – where are they now?
Back in July of 2018, Glamour Boutique debuted our Eye Candy Girl feature. When we were deciding on who would be our debut girl, we asked a Glamour Girl Contest favorite, Ellie Kay. Ellie had just missed winning the cougar category and when speaking to her at the time and getting to know such a sweet woman, we knew she was the right choice. Two years later, Ellie has been on quite a journey and she is back to update all of her fellow girls on what is going on in her life.
Hi Ellie. It is so good to have you back here with us. We do need to say that we miss seeing you in our Glamour Girl Contest. Will you be back again?
I think entering the contest was one the first things I did that helped me realize I can actually live as the person that I have always been. To see all of those women entering with me are lovely and have a ton of courage. And I hope to get whatever they want out of life. To answer the question. I have been on hormones for over two years and have changed my body and brain so much. So I just want to enjoy looking and seeing all the new and returning women that grew in their lives.
How is Colorado treating you? Any fun adventures?
Colorado is so beautiful and so many different things to do. I picked this part of Colorado because there is a very strong LGBTQ organization here I actually volunteer for and I’m very active in the community.
But I’m close to the mountains and the lakes around my area.
When we spoke two years ago, you were dressing as Ellie just about every day. Are you still able to be Ellie as much as you’d like?
I’m Ellie 100% of my life. I had my name changed legally and live and work as Ellie. I go to work with makeup and hair up in a cute ponytail.
You had told us in your original interview that your wife was having a hard time with Ellie and that you were thinking about transitioning. Can you give us an update on that? How is your relationship at home? Have you started to transition?
My relationship with my wife is no longer.
She is attracted to men and I am a woman. I just am finishing up my divorce from her. It was painful and my children won’t speak to me either. I have one 16 year old son who still hangs with me and we do things together.
I have mostly transitioned. The hormones had given me wonderful A almost B size breasts. My skin is smooth. Lost my muscles and veins and actually have a little bit of a curve. My hair came out well and is growing fast. I’m finishing up with laser hair removal. My face is finished now I’m almost done with my Brazilian bikini laser removal. And I have to have it removed for my SRS surgery. My transition has helped me realize that I’m attracted to men. They are delicious and I can’t get enough of them. I’m actively dating cisgender men. They are so cute!!!
What have been your “go to” outfits lately?
Everywhere I go I’m usually in a short dress or skirt and top. Heels and sandals. When I’m not working I’m in a dress 85 to 90% of my day. Sometimes short shorts. Some of my pictures show my style of dresses.
Where have you been going when dressed?
My life is 100% very feminine. My wardrobe is all feminine colors and patterns dresses that come to mid thigh. Everywhere I go I have to be as pretty as I can. I’m in love with this life I finally have. It’s like I have been hiding from the world for years.
We know you love shopping. Where are some of your favorite places to find new outfits?
Yes I absolutely love shopping. I go to Nordstroms… Macy’s. Lulu’s and forever 21. Bebe… I wished I could have been a designer.
When we last spoke you were hoping to waterski in your bikini one day. Have you accomplished your goal? Have you been able to enjoy any of your favorite outdoor activities as Ellie?
In the divorce I did get my boat. I was very happy about that. And every time I take it to the lake or beach I’m in a bikini. Waterskiing in my bikini is a dream come true.
Is there a way for our readers to follow you? Whether on social media or elsewhere?

Any closing words for your fellow girls out there?
If I had the chance to get a do over in life I would have transitioned at a very early age. But I love to dream. This has been the hardest thing I have ever done no question. But I have found a happiness that I never knew was there. I mean I’m glowing. I got a tattoo that reads SMILE because I got nicknamed sunshine because I smile all the time.
I hope these words are inspiring everyone to live life to your fullest potential. You all are beautiful and that beauty brings your personality out like a flower blooming.
Love you all,
Ellie
