A Moment with Nicole
As we’re getting to the home stretch for entries, the Glamour Girl Photo Contest is full of so many amazing Kitten girls. One of those girls is the beautiful Nicole, a makeup artist from Ireland. This Irish lass has entered the Contest for the first time, putting all her fellow Kittens on notice. With her past history as an Eye Candy Girl, the contest may be Nicole’s to lose. We recently caught up with Nicole to ask her a few questions that can help her fellow girls with entry photos.
Thanks for taking a few minutes to answer some questions Nicole. Let’s get right to it.
How do you choose your outfits for photo shoots?
I am actually really lazy when it comes to getting dressed up. I usually focus more on my makeup and hair before I take a pic. Nine times out of ten the outfit I wear is either something I’ve just bought or it’s thrown together last minute
What made you choose a breast plate over traditional breast forms?
Personally I prefer breast plates, with a little contour powder and some clever lighting, they look the most natural in a photo.
Any makeup or wig tips for your age group to look on point for Glamour Girl photos?
Match your foundation to your skin color!! I can’t stress this enough your foundation will make or break your look.
After you shave use some beard cover or rub in some orange lipstick around your beard area. Orange is opposite to blue on the colour wheel very important. It sounds funny I know but, works every time to help stop that blue shadow peaking through. Wigs are easier to get right than your makeup. Make sure the wig frames your face well, take a look at your face shape and then look at women’s hairstyles that compliment that shape. It’s almost foolproof
Thanks Nicole! We hope these tips help out all of you Kittens out there and we will be seeing your sexy photos soon!

The Glamour Girl Photo Contest is heating up! As we hit the one month mark of this year’s contest, we wanted to share some early contenders in each category. We are currently at over 250 entries so far, and we are seeing some real standouts like Klaudia Jones above. So let’s get to it and take a look at some of our favorite Kittens so far. Remember, you can see all the entries made so far HERE.
Our favorite kittens so far
Let’s start with a few returnees. First off is last year’s winner Amanda. Amanda returns this year to defend her crown. By the looks of the photo here, she has a very good chance of becoming our first ever back to back Kitten winner.
Two more returnees are last year’s two runners up, Miss Georgia Brooks and Tiina. Georgia is a former Kitten winner herself back in 2016 and is a huge favorite of ours and our readers. This former Eye Candy Girl enters photos that run from casual to sexy pinup queen, and they never disappoint.
Tiina has been entering our contests for a few years now and each year finishes higher than the year before. Last year she came in second place and looking at her entries this year, she is in it to win it!! We plan on locking Tiina down for a future Eye Candy feature so be ready to see more from this lovely.
These three girls could easily compile our Kitten Top 3 once again. Only time will tell.
Some more early standouts are looking to crack the Top 3 and hoping to take that crown away from Amanda. Let’s take a look at some of the new Kittens who are looking to make waves in both the Kittens and Newcomers categories.
We met Nicole a little over a year ago and instantly made her an Eye Candy Girl. Take a look at her Eye Candy feature and take a look at her photo entry below. I’m sure Nicole will be turning heads in both categories.
Paige DeVecchio is another Newcomer who brings her classic look to the contest. We love her style and think her entry photos, like the one below, will carry her far in both categories.
While Chrissie Castles brings her “girl next door” vibe to the Kittens and Newcomers, Angelina, who is a former Sexy Legs Runner Up brings the sultry. Two very different but equally exciting contestants.
Before we go, let’s welcome back some veterans to the Glamour Girl Contest. These girls have been sharing their photos with us for a while and are always threats to take the Kitten crown.
Anastasia is a fan favorite every year and we get excited every time we receive the email with her contest photos attached. We are planning to have Anastasia as an Eye Candy Girl this year and it could very well be an article talking about her Kitten win. With this photo below, she may be hard to beat.
Sierra Romeo and Yammy Chow continue to wow us each year with their beautiful photos. Will this be the year they both crack the Top 10 and beyond?
These are just a few of the gorgeous Kittens we have been lucky to receive entries from this year. There’s still plenty of contest girls, so we hope to see everyone soon.
The 2020 Glamour Girl Photo Contest is here! We know all of our girls are as excited as we are to show off their stuff with some glamorous photos. Every year we get questions regarding the best ways to take a photo that will get them noticed by our judges. This year we want to help our girls out with some tips to get your photos looking top-notch in the eyes of the judges. Even better, we are going to offer advice geared toward each age category since each age category has its own set of rules so to speak. These tips are geared towards our Kittens. We also sat down with Glamour Girl veteran and favorite Miss Georgia Brooks for her tips on that perfect shot. Let’s get started.
The Selfie: This is the most common photo submission we have. We know many of our contestants take selfies because that may be the only way they can share a photo of themselves for the contest. Selfies are totally fine and our judges never have issues with them if they are properly taken. If you look at Jennifer’s selfie below, she is doing a proper full body mirror selfie. There is no flash going off which would put some harshness on the photo. The photo is clear and in focus.
Below are some more great examples of proper selfies for the contest:
A high angle is almost always the best angle to shoot a selfie from as it gives the most flattering view of you. Low angles are no nos as it can be very unflattering and can make your chin look chubby. Always try and shoot high with your head at a slight angle as well.
We highly suggest using some of these shots as examples if you are going the selfie route this year. We know getting that perfect selfie can be tough and since we just touched upon it here, be sure to check out our in-depth guide on selfies for all your selfie questions and start shooting away.
Find the Light: This tip is straight from Georgia’s mouth, “The biggest key to a good photo is lighting. You don’t want too bright (like direct sunlight) or too dark. You want that golden hour, ring light lighting. Focus on how the light hits your face, work different angles, and snap until you find that perfect shot.” We couldn’t agree more.
Change It Up: One way to keep yourself fresh from year to year, especially if you are a veteran of our contests, is to change things up each year. A prime example is Miss Georgia Brooks herself. Every year Georgia sends in photos that give us something different. Whether it be an outfit, a style, a hair color or the way her makeup looks, Georgia keeps us interested and not bored with each style change.
Another Kitten contestant who, similar to Georgia, has evolved her look each year is Annastaysa. If you look at her last three years of entries, you can see how Annastasya has grown her look and style and turns it up more and more each year. By last year’s entry, you can see the confidence in her eyes and her smile.
Be Unique: We get more than 600 entries for the contest each year. With that many contestants, it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle if you are submitting what our judges would consider a bland shot. We suggest you try to stand out as best you can. Take Jeanie Holiday for example. Jeanie has some really great stylized glamour shots. Now while glamour shots are common, Jeanie stands out because her outfits are different than most. She also uses props and instead of just smiling, she projects some personality with her expressions.
Get Some Action on Your Bed: An easy place to get some really sexy shots is your bed. What’s sexier than some poses on a bed? Those inviting stares while laid out on your bed can do wonders in the eyes of the judges. Christi Sparks is a great example of these shots. She gets extra bonus points for what is considered one of the sexiest poses with that upside down bed shot. That shot is so hot, plus it shows your face in a great way so make sure your makeup is on point. Maggie Ambers has a similar shot. WOW!
See a Professional: If you have the means to see a professional photographer, it pays to do a photoshoot in a studio or out in the wild with them. This is a surefire way to get the best pics possible and aside from a great contest photo, you can have some really nice shots of yourself for your own personal collection. You can notice that some of the shots in this article were taken in a studio like 2018 Grand Champion Jill Smith’s at the top of this article as well as some of Georgia, Annastaysa and Jeanie’s shots throughout here as well. Below is another example from Sierra Romero.
Regarding working with a pro, Georgia tells us, “Never be scared to pay for amazing photos. I took a chance on myself, paid a professional for photos, and haven’t looked back and it’s provided me with amazing opportunities!”
Be Playful/Let Your Personality Show/Smile: Like we mentioned earlier, showing some personality is a big plus when submitting photos. Our judges want to see you having fun and not looking super serious (Unless the photo you’re taking calls for that). Showing your personality isn’t just facial expressions as it can give us a peek into your day to day life. Eye Candy Girl Camilla has an amazing smile while just hanging out at home taking photos. Former Kitten winner Julie Leigh is giving us a great pose on the window sill. These types of photos let our judges and viewers get a sense of who you are, so it’s always a good way to go.
Building off of this, it’s important to find a style that works for you. As Georgia says, “What makes a confident woman. In my experience with many friends, it’s a mixture of things. Outfit, hair, makeup are the three keys to it but also understanding what style you like best. Personally I dabble from modern to pin up, so find what fits your personality! Don’t reach for the short dress if you couldn’t see yourself out in it. Confidence is key over what might look fun or what others might say, only you know you and that’s ok. Feel it and work it and don’t be scared to show off.
We hope that these tips can help get our Kittens started out on the right foot and get you on the path to some glamorous photos for this year’s contest. If you are newer to dressing and our contests, don’t feel discouraged if you feel you are not up to snuff with some of the photos that you see. Keep at it. Evolve and change your style to let your personality show and as you get more skilled in your clothing and style choices, you will see how great your photos will become. Practice makes perfect and at the end of the day this contest is for all of our girls to express themselves and have fun. So snap away and we can’t wait to see what you submit to us.
If that’s not enough, Georgia leaves us with this, “You’re all capable of amazing photos, and you get one life! Capture it and show it off and be proud of who you are!”
