Top 4 Best Makeup Removal ProductsMakeup is such a pain to get off, especially waterproof products. Personally, I try to stay away from anything waterproof because it is just too much of a pain to get off. I have ripped out my eyelashes a few times trying to remove those types of products. However, there are a few products on the market that work great at removing the toughest of waterproof makeup with ease. These products work so, well for me. I recommend them to people all the time. However, before we talk about the special products it is important to go over some basics beforehand. Remember to take special care of the following areas to ensure you leave no tell-tale signs that you having been wearing makeup:
Be sure to cleanse yourself in an area with good lighting so, you can see if you got everything off. Trust me, if you are not open about dressing, you don’t want to go home and then realize that you have foundation streaks all over your face. If on the road, take a good cosmetic mirror with you, preferably a reversible one with a magnified side, for good up-close inspection. The following products will not only remove all signs of your makeover but enhance your skin as well. 1) Albolene: $12.95 Albolene is a great multi-purpose product. Its number one uses are for makeup removal and dry skin. Albolene is a little different from the other products due to the fact that it does not come in a pad or wipe. These wipes remove eye makeup in seconds, leaving your skin clean and refreshed with no oily residue. I have also heard that these wipes leave your face smelling wonderful. 4) Nu Pore Make-Up Removal Wipes: $4.95 This value Pack of cleansing and moisturizing tissues remove makeup in one step. Infused with skin rejuvenating green tea, vitamin E and aloe vera this pack of 30 tissues will benefit your skin while also lasting a long time. Tips: How to Cleanse Your Face: First pull back any or all hair that can fall in front of your face while washing. If you have a product that you need to rub on your face with your hands I would first damn your face with some water before applying. If you have a wipe or pad you can immediately start removing your makeup. You do not need to wet your face for this since the pads/wipes come pre-wet with formula. I usually always start with my eyes when removing my makeup since it takes the longest and that is where the most makeup usually is. Try and be as gentle as possible on your eyelashes so they don’t fall out in the process. Keep circling around your eyes until all the makeup is removed. Don’t forget to go over your eyebrows as well. After my eye makeup is completely off I usually start with a new pad/wipe or add some more cleanser to my face. I start outlining and scrubbing my hairline and forehead making my way down my face towards my cheeks. Make sure to clean as close as you can to your ears to make sure you get all of your foundation and blush off. When you get down to your chin, clean under your chin as well and all along your jawline. Lastly, if necessary rise with warm water and dry. I hope these products work for some of you as well as they work for me. I always try and find products that work well but are also not that expensive. I thought you ladies might appreciate that as well. Remember to always moisturize! |
