These pantyhose have a classic Cuban heel design which to many with it’s back seam is the ultimate in femininity for many crossdressers who love to wear hosiery. Although normally only found in traditional stockings, these pantyhose have all the sex appeal of Cuban heel seamed hosiery together with the practicality of a pair of pantyhose or tights.

For the un-initiated, the Cuban heel is a design evoking a bygone era when women dressed in a much more feminine manner. Females never wore jeans and rarely trousers but had pinched waists and hemlines to show off their legs. However, the true origins of Cuban heel hosiery were of a practical nature and not aesthetic. Stockings were first manufactured from 100% nylon which was very shiney and slippery. Furthermore, stockings tended to have a weakness with regards to wear and tear. The sole and particularly the heel on stockings would wear much quicker than the leg shaft.

The Cuban heel was made by folding over and sewing the reinforcement so that the area of the sole and heel that received the most wear would now last that much longer. Thus was born what has now become a retro classic in legwear. Not many things inspire an air of femininity more than a pair of seamed, Cuban heel hosiery and now they are available in a pantyhose.
