Shoes and Hosiery to Showcase Your Legs
Sexy Legs season is here! With our Sexy Legs photo contest starting this month, now is a great time to talk about how shoes and hosiery can showcase your legs. With so many varieties and combinations of hosiery and shoes, there is something out there for everyone. Let’s take a look at a handful of different options and outfits that we can put together that will center the attention on those hot legs of yours.
Hosiery – When it comes to your hosiery choices, you have a few styles to choose from. Each has their pros and cons. Depending on what you’re going for, you can choose from stockings, pantyhose or stay-ups. Once you select your style, quality and function should also play a factor. Let’s take a look at what you should be thinking about.
Stay-Ups/Stockings – Stay-ups are a great option for girls over 6 feet tall as they tend to be longer than stockings. When using stay-ups, a garter belt is a nice accessory as it will give some extra support and add to the sexy factor under your clothes.
Pantyhose – Pantyhose are great help when tucking as they can add extra hold. Pantyhose may not work too well with taller girls unless there is a large size available.
Styles – Sheer is probably the most common style of legwear and every girl should have at least one pair of sheer stocking in their drawer. Some girls love to have fishnets on as they sex things up a bit more. If you are someone who cannot shave their legs or have legs with varicose veins or have marked up legs, go with an opaque stocking as they will conceal these issues.
Color – Traditionalists go with black as they can go with just about any outfit. White is a fun color that will go well with a white corset and white heels. That look will scream innocent sexiness. Red is the sexiest color of stockings as they will heat up your outfit. Some girls like to hold their red stockings for a night in the bedroom.
Quality – There are different levels of quality you should know about too. Some of the less expensive stockings may not give you long term durability while an Italian stocking is designed to give you durability, while it’s perfect finish, offers maximum comfort. You should always keep a couple of pairs of higher end stockings for those special occasions.
Shoes – Let’s move further down those sexy legs to your feet. Your shoes will compliment your choice of legwear so it’s important to choose wisely.
Short Heels vs Higher Heels – Some girls have a very difficult time walking in 5inch stilettos and that is totally ok. It takes practice to get used to it. But if you can, stilettos can really help to push up your butt giving you more shape and really sex up your legs. A shorter heel is totally fine if you aren’t comfortable in higher heels. Two to three inches will still give you some lift and with the right selection of shoes can finish off that sexy leg outfit.
Open Toes, Closed Toes or Pumps – If you do not have the ability to paint your toes, then it may be best to stick with a closed toe shoe. Pumps are a great choice as they come in various heel sizes and are considered a staple of a woman’s shoe collection. If you can paint your toes and want those cuties on full display, go for an open toed shoe or sandal. You can wear these without stockings if your legs are shaved and along with some lotion you can have sleek, sexy legs with your cute toes hanging out of your shoes.
Other Styles – The D’Orsay Pump with cutaway is a great shoe to make your legs seem longer as the cutaway gives off a lengthy look. If you want to really sex up your legs and get more playful/fetish, you can go with an exotic dancer heel with it’s 6inch heel and platform front. This shoe screams hotness! Other fun options are a bambi stiletto heel or for the real adventurous girls, the six inch fetish cuff pump is the way to go.
Other Considerations – Once your shoes and legwear choices are chosen, it is time to finish things off with outfits and accessories that will enhance your legs further.
Outfit to Showcase Legs – If you want to show off your legs, you have to go short. The shorter the better. A mini dress or a cocktail dress is a perfect match here when you’re out with the girls or on a date. If you’re going sexier either in the bedroom or for a photo shoot, go with a baby doll. This sultry little number will get anyone’s attention.
Jewelry/Accessories – Let’s add a little extra. If you have on your stay ups or stockings, a garter belt is a super sexy option. Not only is it functional, but in the bedroom it looks really hot with some lingerie. Add a little bling with a toe ring or anklet. Just these little extras can go far in completing your look so don’t pass them over.
Toe Nails – Like we said earlier. If you can, paint those toenails. You can color coordinate with your choice of outfit or go in your own direction. When they are painted, your toes will look so nice and ready to hang out of those open toe shoes or sandals.
